 Introduction:
Biological models often result in complex systems of nonlinear PDE`s. Understanding their behavior is crucial for advancements in fields ranging from medicine to ecology. This mini-symposium seeks to bring together experts in the field and possibly practitioners to explore the innovative techniques and approaches used in optimizing and refining biological models. We will showcase recent developments in mathematical modeling and computational techniques, describing how these tools can enhance our understanding of biological phenomena and improve the design of interventions and treatments. We will highlight the state-of-the-art techniques and mathematical methods for estimating model parameters, even in presence of noisy or limited data.
