Introduction:
| This special session aims to gather experts on symplectic dynamics in a leisurely ambiance to actively present recent advances, exchange stimulating ideas, explore novel research directions, and more importantly, initiate collaborations closely. Symplectic dynamics has been studied ever since the birth of modern symplectic geometry in the early 1980s, well-known for many surprising rigidity phenomena in Hamiltonian dynamics. Besides, past decades have seen a significant improvement in our understanding of symplectic dynamics, especially at the crossroads of various fast-developing subjects including the Reeb dynamics in contact geometry, $C^0$-symplectic geometry, closed geodesics in Finsler geometry, and diffeomorphism groups in low dimension. Moreover, with the advent of strong machinery such as barcode theory, symplectic field theory, index theory, and feral curves theory, applied to explore more sophisticated dynamical properties, symplectic dynamics has become one of the most active research areas in symplectic and contact geometry. If the schedule permits, we will end this session with an open discussion.
