Existence results for nonlinear differential problems and applications to neural networks

Abstract:
This talk concerns results on the existence of positive solutions to boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations. In particular, we show the existence of a periodic weak solution to a nonlinear parametric differential problem using variational methods. The core approach is based on critical point theorems, with particular emphasis on a recently developed non-zero local minimum theorem.
