The Third International Conference on Dynamical Systems and
Differential Equations" was held on the campus of Kennesaw
State University, Kennesaw, GA, USA, May 18--21, 2000 . The
conference was organized by AIMS and Kennesaw State University
(Chairman of the Organizing Committee: Professor Joshua Du),
and sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
The conference brought together over 250 distinguished
mathematicians and scientists working in the broad fields
of differential equations, dynamical systems and real-world
applications, to report recent research developments, exchange
ideas and information, and discuss the prospects and trends
of future research. It has become a moving phenomenon that
an ever growing number of junior researchers and highly motivated
graduate students participate actively in the conferences,
to interact with some world-renowned senior scientists. More
than fifty countries/regions were represented at the conference.
The conference proceedings (450 pages) was published as an
added volume of DCDS.
